Always protect your tattoo from the damaging rays of the sun. Use a sunscreen lotion for this purpose. Look for the SPF factor of the sun screen lotion. It must always be above 30. Even after you have applied a sun screen never direct the tattoo to the direct sunlight. This may fade the ink of the tattoo. Doing so would require re touch ups in the ink of the tattoo. This would add up to your existing pain and even the money.
